Ice2Thrust.Space is proud to highlight the contribution of Viktor Danchev, Chief Technology Officer at EnduroSat, who plays a key role in shaping the advancing of Space Mobility through science and engineering.
As the Chief Technology Officer of EnduroSat, Viktor Danchev oversees the company’s technological roadmap, from the development of new products to the execution of space missions. Within the Ice2Thrust project, he convenes and supports the team in developing the engineering approach required to accommodate the solar-electric water electrolysis propulsion system and the needs of proximity and docking operations. His work includes defining mission requirements, conducting power and thermal analyses, shaping system interfaces, and deriving the hardware and software specifications necessary to evaluate technological feasibility and ensure successful CubeSat testing.
Viktor holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Sofia University, where his research focused on gravitational modelling of compact astrophysical objects and their numerical simulations in the context of General Relativity and Modified Gravitational Theories. His work involved extracting theory parameters from simulations and constraining them through comparison with experimental data, including X-ray observations of pulsars, white-dwarf–pulsar pairs, accreting neutron stars, and gravitational-wave signals from merger events.
Driven by a passion for both science and engineering, Viktor applies this dual perspective to every aspect of his work. He firmly believes that the future of our world depends on science and education, and he strives to promote this vision through his professional contributions every day.
