Ice2Thrust at SmallSat Europe 2026

Ice2Thrust will be represented at SmallSat Europe 2026, 27th of May 2026 through a poster presentation led by Tomas Mrazek and fellow researchers from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the University of Luxembourg, highlighting innovative developments in resilient spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control systems.

The presented work, “A Coupled Analytical-Simulation Approach to Redundant Small Spacecraft AOCS”, explores advanced methods for improving the reliability and robustness of Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) for future small satellite missions. The research contributes directly to enabling more autonomous, fault-tolerant, and sustainable spacecraft operations — key capabilities for future in-space servicing, docking, and long-duration missions.

Authors of the Abstract

  • Mr. Tomas Mrazek — Research Associate, Technical University of Munich
  • Mr. Aman Arora — Doctoral Researcher, University of Luxembourg
  • Mr. Matteo El Hariry — Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Luxembourg
  • Mr. Yasin Kale — Master’s Candidate, Technical University of Munich
